  • Qwibble Cut n Sew Fabric Panel
  • Scissors
  • Sewing Machine (optional)

  • Thread (for machine sewing)
  • Polyester Fiberfill
  • White felt
  • Rhinestones for eyes (optional)

The instructions below show the plushie hand sewn together with the right side of the printed fabric facing out and using the stitching lines as a guide. The outer edge of fabric is held together using a blanket stitch. If machine sewing, sew right sides to together using a 1/4″ seam allowance. Clip curves and turn right side out, press with iron.

On the fabric look for the scissor icons and cut out all the fabric pieces along the outer edge of each item. Also cut out the feathers and Qwibble tag along the outer edge.

Optional: Before sewing the pieces together, add some hand embroidery around the body, eyes and scars with a chain or back stitch.

Make ears. Sew front and back ears together. Leave top open. Lightly stuff ears with fiberfill just to the scar line.

Position the ears between the two black line marks on the head pin and baste to secure.

With wrong sides together (hand sew), right sides together (machine sew), stitch around the body along the dashed lines leave a 2 inch opening on the bottom.

Fill the body with polyester fiberfill to desire firmness. Sew the body opening closed.

For Nose: Sew right sides together. Leave bottom area open. Turn fight side out. Stuff with fiberfill. Hand baste along the nose stitch line. Pull thread to draw seam into nose. Tuck under raw edge and and sew the nose to the face.

For Feathers: Cut along outer edge. Place the 2 same shapes wrong sides together. Stitch along the center line of each feather to secure. Hand tack the feathers to the body on the “X” marks.

For Name Tag: Cut a piece of white felt the same size as the Qwibble tag. Hand or machine sew around the outer edge to secure the two pieces together. Punch a hole using a paper puncher and string black embroidery thread or ribbon through the hole and tie around Qwibble’s neck.
